The Rug Corner is only required to charge sales tax on orders shipped to delivery addresses in the State of New Jersey. These purchases are subject to a state sales tax of 6.625% of the price of the merchandise.

This return policy applies strictly to merchandise ordered online, including area rugs, non-skid pads, etc.
If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for the full purchase price. You are simply responsible for the return shipping costs. Please note that some items are "final sale" and may not be returned.

All returns require an Return Authorization Number (RA). Customers must request an RA# by sending an email to: customerservice@therugcorner.com within 30 days of receiving the order. Include the reason for the return and reference your original order #.

Occasionally, items may get damaged in transit. When you order is delivered, if there is visible damage to the packaging, please refuse the delivery and notate the damage on the form from the delivery driver. Then notify us immediately. This will allow us to promptly order a replacement piece from the manufacturer. If you are not home to accept the delivery, any visible damage from shipping must be reported to the delivery company and TheRugCorner.com within 24 hours to be eligible for a claim. If you inspect the shipment and there is not any noticeable damage, but you find concealed damage or defects after the carrier leaves, do not disregard the packaging . Do not disregard the product itself as it might be necessary for the carrier to inspect and report on the damage. Do not send the rug back without first being instructed to do so. Failure to comply may result in a denial of a damaged item claim per the shipping carrier claims guidelines. Immediately contact us to report the situation.
All deliveries are curbside, or in driveway adjacent to garage. Driver is not responsible to bring merchandise into the home.
An order can be cancelled or changed as long as it has not been shipped by the manufacturer, which is typically within 24 hours from the time the order is placed.
Rug Size Variations: Size variations in machine made rugs usually do not exceed two inches, but handmade rugs may vary in size up to six inches. All sizes listed on our website are approximate.
Rugs colors: We make every attempt to ensure that the colors displayed in the product images are accurate; however, individual monitor settings can affect how the image appears. We cannot be held responsible for color distortions and we encourage you to see the product in person whenever possible.
Leather Products: Leather is a natural product and markings such as scars, brands, wrinkles, grain variations, textures and sheen (level of gloss) can and will occur. As with any dyed material, dye lots will be different and an exact color match cannot be guaranteed to any sample or product you may have seen. Sample swatches should be construed to show the approximate color, grain, level of gloss and/or texture of a leather. These variations in leather do not constitute a reason for return or compensation.
Pricing and Details: The Rug Corner takes every measure to ensure the price and details of the products sold on our site are accurate, however we reserve the right to cancel an order if it is found to have a typographical or programming error relating to price, size, color or any other inaccuracies.
Payment is due in full at time of order. If rug is out of stock, customer will be provided with an ETA as determined by the manufacturer.
Customer may opt to wait or cancel and receive a refund.
